Dog Odours

Doggy Smell?

Some dogs smell more than others.  It depends on the type of dog, type and length of fur, its’ diet, how often it gets a bath, how often it gets exercise and whether it is an ‘inside’ or ‘outside’ dog.

Of course, a wet dog is an especially smelly dog, unless he or she has just come out of the hydrobath!

Use Smellgone Odour Control spray to treat your dogs bed, blanket, mat.  You can also spray the area your dog sleeps in if it is the laundry or on the verandah for instance.  If your dog has a sleeping pad with a liner, you can add a couple of handfuls of Odour Control Powder inside the liner.  This will provide lasting odour control.

For urine smells from over enthusiastic male dogs or from ‘leaking’ older dogs, spray the effected area thoroughly.  You will find our Super Spray Pack a good way of doing this.

If you are a dog breeder or boarding kennel please contact us for more information on odour control to suit your particular circumstances.

Puppy Cleanup?

House training a new puppy can be a messy task, some pups take longer than others to ‘get the idea’.

If your puppy makes a mess on the floor or carpet, wipe or pick up any excess material.  Now mist/spray the area thoroughly with Smellgone Odour Control spray.  Sponge up any excess moisture and solid material, rinse your sponge in a bucket of water.  Thoroughly spray the effected area again and sponge up any excess moisture.  Leave to dry overnight or longer if necessary.

The beneficial microbes in Smellgone spray actually eat up any remaining wastes, eliminating residues and smells.  This means your puppy is very unlikely to seek out the same spot again to relieve him or herself.
