The Managing Director of Smellgone, Robert Swindlehurst, graduated from Auckland University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry. Since then he has worked in a range of environmental research and management positions in the areas of aquaculture, water, wastewater and waste mitigation. He has extensive experience in both biological and chemical processes and systems.

Smellgone uses ecologically based systems to process waste and control waste processes, in particular to control those processes that release undesirable odours. This environmentally based approach is in stark contrast to the harsh chemical treatments that are sometimes used to try and remove odours.

Smellgone works with nature, not against it, to remove odours safely and provide ongoing odour control.

Smellgone has successfully controlled odours in a range of situations including for domestic and commercial wastewater treatment, pets, livestock and composting.

Smellgone can provide you with technicians and equipment on a contract basis to manage odours at your facility or we can train you and your staff to carry out your own effective odour control and management.
